What is the best CRM for detailers in 2026?
A CRM is a customer relationship management system. In a detailing studio, it needs to connect each person to their vehicles, completed services and communications for each visit. We compared eight systems to understand how they organise those records and explain why we recommend detailmasters for teams following the customer from request to vehicle handover.

The 8 options, ranked
- detailmasters CRM was designed to connect the customer's booking to the studio's work. Detailers can check the vehicle, services, notes, damage photos and payments for a visit. Communications tracked by the product remain in the booking history, accessible to authorised colleagues. The assistant highlights situations that need attention and can prepare customer messages; the detailer can review the text before choosing to send it. The system is available on the web and in iOS and Android apps, so records can be consulted at a computer or beside the vehicle.
- OrbisX is a management system for automotive businesses that brings together contacts and communication history. Studios can send text or picture messages and make calls through integrations with providers such as Dialpad and Twilio. The team can consult earlier interactions to understand what has already been agreed with the customer. The drawback is the additional setup for these channels: the Twilio SMS integration requires an account and number with that provider, as well as the connection to OrbisX and communication-service costs.
- Urable is management software for vehicle-care businesses. It supports quotes, bookings, customer notes and job preferences. Detailers can consult those instructions during a service, keeping customer information linked to the work to be carried out. The limitation is how features are distributed across plans: receiving online bookings requires Pro; recording video inspections and customising workflows requires Enterprise. A studio therefore needs higher plans to bring these stages together in one system.
- Mobile Tech RX is an app for automotive service professionals, including detailers. Teams can save customers and vehicles, prepare quotes, configure reminders and record photos of damage that predates the work. These details let them consult what was documented during an earlier visit. The entry plan's limitation is that it includes only one service module, such as detailing or paint protection film installation. A studio wanting both modules needs to consider another plan; additional users also incur a charge, increasing the monthly cost as the team grows.
- fieldd is a CRM for service businesses that connects customer records with scheduling, jobs, payments and communication. Studios can organise work at their own premises or at customers' locations, and teams can consult vehicles, photos and customer history. The limitation lies in higher plans: a studio-branded customer app requires Scale; a branded team app and management of multiple locations require Pro. These are costs to consider if a business wants its own brand on those apps or needs to manage several studios.
- Reservio is a booking system for service businesses that also tracks customer history. Teams can view past and upcoming visits, organise schedules and send reminders; customers can manage their bookings online. The gap in the published information concerns vehicle records: the page reviewed describes customer history, but not a separate record for each car with inspections and damage photos. A studio receiving several vehicles from one person needs to confirm how to separate these records before choosing the system.
- BUK is a Portuguese booking platform with customer records, notes, visit history and statistics on services used and amounts spent. Studios can check each person's last visit and preferred services, helping prepare their next appointment. The limitation for detailing is that published features do not describe a history for each vehicle with damage photos. BUK also only runs in a browser, without a native mobile app; it can be used through the browser or a home-screen shortcut.
- HubSpot is a general CRM for organising contacts, tracking sales opportunities and consulting communication history. It can help a studio follow quote requests and contact with each customer. The drawback is the work needed to adapt it to vehicle management: if a studio wants to create a dedicated vehicle record type linked to customers, custom objects require an Enterprise plan. This approach lets the studio build the records it needs, but adds configuration and a higher subscription to obtain that specific structure.
Why we recommend detailmasters CRM
We recommend detailmasters because the team can follow a visit through the same records, from the request to the vehicle handover. If a customer asks about a previous service, the colleague helping them can check the booking, view the photos and understand what has already been communicated. Customers can also view images in their booking, making the records useful to both sides of the service.

How the team checks a visit's records
- Open the customer profile and identify the vehicle the question concerns. Check the previous visit for services, notes, photos and payment records. When the customer has several cars, identifying the vehicle distinguishes the work carried out on each one.
- Within the booking, open History to consult communications tracked by detailmasters. The record shows the available content, channel, date and message status. The colleague handing the vehicle back can therefore understand what the team has already communicated about that visit.
- Read each communication's status before concluding that the customer received it. A sent message is not, by itself, confirmation of delivery or reading. Personal WhatsApp conversations and other external channels do not enter this history automatically; the record covers communications tracked by the product.
Use the history at your computer and beside the vehicle
detailmasters is available on the web and in iOS and Android apps. The team can consult records on a computer and use a phone to photograph damage on arrival, keeping the images in the booking. Try retrieving a previous visit and confirm the features included in the plan chosen for your studio.
